Class Party!

Thanks to everyone who sent in items and helped out that day to make our party lots of fun!

The kids really enjoyed making their edible snowmen and opening their stockings!

Holiday Fun

We designed Snowman Families last week. When we were finished, each student made a tally chart of their snowman data: how many total eyes, buttons, scarves, etc. Then each table group got together and added up all their data. (A lot harder than it sounds!) I forgot to snap a pic of our giant class bar graph, but here are a few pics of the project.

 Each color represents a table of students, except for orange, which represented the whole class!

Fort Worth Opera

We are enjoying a wonderful, funny performance by the Ft. Worth Opera this morning!

Mrs. Cockrell loves when they visit since she sang opera in college!

Engineering Station

We have been really enjoying taking apart electronics in our Engineering Station!

Mrs. Cockrell is trying to help us to remember to record our findings so that we can design a new creation using the cool parts we find.

It is very cool to see all the tiny parts that make something work.
